CEO / FOUNDER

DANE CLARKE II was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. He simultaneously attended West Orange High School (18’) and Harlem School of the Arts (18’).

He graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts (22’) with a BFA in Theatre as well as a minor in Producing for TV & Film.

In 2020 Dane founded multi-hyphenate production company, Pineloft Entertainment. Pineloft brings unfamiliar stories that are daring, inclusive and riveting to audiences. As CEO he sets goals, implements strategies for growth, and maintains the mission of the company.

JOEL POKU was born in Alpharetta, GA but shortly moved to West Orange, NJ around the age of three. He attended West Orange High School (16’).

From West Orange, Joel went on to study in Boston where he received a BS in Economics and Finance at Northeastern University (20’). Joel graduated from Northeastern University magna cum laude.

Previously, Joel was a Senior Associate at a Boston based multi-family office where he focused on accounting and tax services. He joined Pineloft Entertainment in 2021. As Brand Director of Pineloft Entertainment, he helps develop and produce their TV / Film slate and spearheads marketing initiatives in order to increase Pineloft’s brand visibility.
